Using the fuel of Kirkland's (our GM) homemade quinoa cookies and chai tea, the facilitators of the FitPath program brainstormed ideas to improve the overall schedule and delivery of the FitPath program. We papered the walls of Kirkland's home with comments and suggestions from our guests over the last few years as well as our own observations. Everything was put on the table and open for discussion. Ideas such as length of hikes, timing of dinners and lectures as well as adding in new "featured" hikes and lectures for returning guests and those who stay with us longer than one week were brought up for discussion. Once we started the process more ideas kept getting generated and we got excited the changes and how they will improve the overall success our guests goals and comfort.
